Richie Conroy is an award-winning television comedy and drama writer. Richie is the author of the Dialann Emily Porter novels, short stories and picturebooks and was the Writer-in-Residence in Dublin City University 2021. He lives in Kildare.

How different — or similar — are the 1990s and the 2020s?Join Richie Conroy, author of the Dialann Emily Porter Trilogy, for an energetic and nostalgic journey back to the 1990s. Through storytelling, discussion, and interactive activities, participants will explore the culture, trends, technology, and everyday life of the decade — and discover how it shaped the world we live in today.

Fun, thought-provoking, this workshop invites audiences to compare generations, challenge assumptions, and maybe even feel a little nostalgic along the way.

Children must be accompanied by an adult, tickets are required for children and adults.

Dear Diary is a bilingual  Gaeilge/English) creative workshop exploring diary writing. Through readings, discussion and exercises, Richie Conroy will guide participants on how diary-keeping can become a space for truth, personal reflection and creative experimentation.
