Guide to Ticketed Events

Age Guidance

Our events are thoughtfully curated with specific age groups in mind, helping you choose the best experience for your child.

Family Events

Events marked as Family Events include a recommended age range, but everyone is welcome. We encourage families of all shapes and sizes to join in - just remember to book a ticket for each attendee.

Arrival & Doors

To help everything run smoothly, please arrive around 15 minutes before your event with your tickets ready.
All events will begin promptly at the advertised start time.

Event Duration

Unless otherwise stated, all ticketed events will run for approximately one hour.

Venues

Ticketed events will take place across the following locations:

●      Lismore Heritage Centre

●      Pugin Hall

●      Red Hall

●      Lismore Library

●      LCA Gallery Café

●      The Vault Café

All venues are fully accessible. (Please note that wheelchair access to Pugin Hall is via Mary Feeney's Room.)

We’ll provide designated buggy parking areas in or near venues. Where possible, you might find a sling or carrier more convenient for little ones.

Accessibility

We are committed to making the festival as welcoming and inclusive as possible.

Lismore Castle and Gardens can be accessed via Castle Avenue on the day of the festival. Please note that some ground surfaces within the castle grounds are gravel, which may be more difficult for certain buggies and wheelchairs. While there are steps in parts of the gardens, each area also has step-free access routes.

Access to the Castle Dungeon is via a narrow staircase only, making it unsuitable for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. The space itself is dark, confined, and can feel restrictive, and UV (ultraviolet) lighting is used throughout, which could cause discomfort for some visitors. It is recommended that entry is avoided for those who may feel uncomfortable in small or dimly lit spaces.

We are delighted to welcome All Abilities Ireland to the festival for the first time this year. The Quiet Chapter is a curated Sensory Sanctuary located in Mary Feeney's Room. It is a welcoming, inclusive retreat designed for anyone who needs a moment to reset.

If you have any specific access needs or questions, we’re here to help.
