EVENTS

Will You Wish Upon a Star? | Workshop at the Towers and Tales Planetarium

10.30 a.m. | 2 p.m. | 4 p.m. | The Red Hall | €10 (Carers free) | for age 7+

In Eve’s next novel The Last Boy, a small, unwanted ‘climbing boy’ is sold to a cruel Master Sweep, so when a storm of stars fills the sky, he casts his wish upon each star to be the last climbing boy, ever. It’s a big wish for a little boy, but wishes exist in hope-filled hearts – they are the tiny seeds of huge change, they create dreams of better things, and, best of all, they bring smiles and delicious anticipation!

Join Eve in the Towers and Tales Planetarium for a magical, wish-filled event. What would you wish for? Dogs that talk, or marshmallows for tea? A big change to our world, or a little change to your day? We’ll create our giant Wishprint before turning our eyes to the skies.
Under a phenomenal storm of stars, we’ll cast our wishes, and wonder… will they come true?

Includes an exclusive pre-publication reading from The Last Boy.

Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop. Please note access to the planetarium is for children only, chairs will be provided for adults to relax in the venue .
