Chris Judge is an illustrator, artist, and children's picture book author from Dublin, Ireland. Since 2011 Chris has written and illustrated over 35 children's books, many of which are in collaboration with authors like Roddy Doyle, David O'Doherty and Eoin Colfer. His first book, The Lonely Beast, won the Specsavers Irish Children's Book of the Year 2011 in the Bord Gáis Energy Irish Book Awards. Chris also creates large-scale artworks, including murals, installations, wood-cuts and most notably six large mosaics in collaboration with Triskill Design for Stanhope Street School in Dublin, Scoil Bhride in Kildare and Mountrath CS.

Meet Chris Judge, creator of Tiny and Teeny, The Lonely Beast and Cloud Babies. Hear about his journey to getting published, from childhood right up to the publication of his latest book, graphic novel Evil Duck.

GIANT comic creations with Chris Judge | Workshop

Could Lismore be the home of the world’s most enormous and epic comic book? Come and work with artist Chris Judge, creator of the graphic novel Evil Duck, to make a giant comic book together. This hands-on workshop gives young artists a chance to shape their own stories and be part of a supersized collaborative art project. The result will be the most amazing oversized comic ever!
Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop.
